Masque Community Theatre has been an active contributor to Temple Terrace since 1986, providing cultural enhancement and a creative outlet for community members of all ages.  Along with the Temple Terrace Recreation Center and the Lightfoot Center, the Masque Community Theatre of Temple Terrace is one of the unique assets that define Temple Terrace as a premier community.

Thanks to the generosity of the city, Masque Community Theatre has enjoyed five years of growth at its current location at 8825 N. 56th Street.

From its start as the empty shell of a department store, the theatre now boasts a large stage, seating for 200, an attractive marquee, a uniquely themed refreshment area with concession stand, a work shop for creating stage props, dressing rooms, storage areas with hundreds of donated costumes, and practice/classroom areas for providing a large variety of community programming. All of this development has been realized through the hard wdork and commitment of community volunteers who are maintaining the vitality of the community through their efforts.

As a non-profit community theater, Masque Community Theatre relies solely on the generous support from patrons in the community through season tickets, advertising from businesses and friends, box office sales, and sponsors to meet the annual operating budget.
